Natural Healing Arts Library of Hawai'i

Looking for space in North Kohala

A vision of an outstanding specialty library focused on the natural healing arts is beginning to unfold in North Kohala!  A donation of over 3000 books on various natural healing topics is being donated to the Barefoot Doctors' Academy by Dee Anne Domnick-Berg and Jim Berg, M.D.  Their combined library already had a reputation of being one of the best in the country on natural healing.  To top this, a number of other healers have also offered to donate their personal libraries on the subject.  The potential for this library is phenomenal.

The Big Island of Hawaii is world renown as 'the healing island' and is home to an uncanny percentage of accomplished holistic healers, as well as students of natural healing.  North Kohala of the Big Island is fast becoming the destination spot for healing of mind, body & spirit.

Currently, the Barefoot Doctors' Academy is in search of a library space in North Kohala to house a minimum of 5000-plus books. The space requirements would also necessitate good ventilation and lighting and easy public access. Donations can be tax-deductible as the Barefoot Doctors' Academy is a non-profit organization with an educational 501(c)3 status.

Inquiries: call our office at (808)987-7008 and speak with Dee Anne.

Make it Happen

"Greatness is not where we stand, but in what direction we are moving.  We must sail sometimes with the wind and sometimes against it---but sail we must, and not drift, nor lie at anchor."

                        ---Oliver Wendell Holmes
