organization since 1983. In 2003, we relocated our central office from
Lacombe, Louisiana to North Kohala
on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Our programs include Barefoot Doctors’ Training,
Herbal Medicine, Doula Certification, the Integrative Medicine Forum,
Healing Gardens Sanctuary Internships, Emergency Preparedness Team-Building
& 'Rapid Response", private midwifery tutoring, and more. At Barefoot Doctors' Academy,
one of our
goals is to provide you with quality education of the
